Music is so important to me. Not a day goes by when I do not listen to at least three full songs, and that is rare. I can't even start driving my car without my iPod cued up and ready to go! The amazing thing about music is that everyone connects to it on some level. Personally, I consider myself to be someone with a very well-rounded music library. I will give anything a chance and enjoy all genres of music from electronica to rockabilly to rap to showtunes. And I'm not kidding.
Check out this video of Tyler Cullen's short video. Basically, he ventures into NYC and stops random people walking down the street and asks them "What are you listening to?" It's amazing how much music is out there and how many people are listening! (Not to mention how every single person had an iPod... Apple is taking over the world, but that's another train of thought).

Gil Scott-Heron and Jamie xx (of The XX) came out with an album called "We're New Here" which I love.

Cults' self-titled debut is the best thing I've heard in a while. Way too addicting.
Last but not least, Battles' new album "Gloss Drop" has been on repeat since it's release last week.
